This collection features a foreword written by the award-winning Irish author, Colm Tóibín, who has received international recognition for his work, including The Master 2004, winner of The Dublin IMPAC Prize, the Prix du Meilleur Livre, and The LA Times Novel of the Year. He is currently the Leonard Milberg Lecturer in Irish Letters in Princeton University. The collection also features an introduction by Brian Ó Conchubhair, Associate Professor of Irish Language and Literature at the University of Notre Dame.

Twisted Truths is a carefully chosen selection of twenty-two stories, by thirteen authors, which offer witty, edgy, often risky, and always insightful fiction. It is the first anthology to fully represent the vast range of innovation in contemporary writing from Ireland.
