'The astounding beauty of the Donegal coastline and the area around Rosbeg has compelled us to return here for over 25 years, fostering a love of the place which we have tried to capture in this book. All profits from sales are being donated to the charity Doctors Without Borders 

Joan and Noel Connor have walked and shared many shorelines around Scotland, Wales and Northumberland but most extensively along the west coast of Ireland. One small corner of that coast has provided the inspiration for this book. The astounding beauty of the area between Narin and Ardara in Donegal inspired them to return fostering a love for the place which is reflected in the wide variety of work they have presented in this book. This collection offers no direct illustrations of the poetry and the words were not written to accompany any particular image. From cover to cover it offers a shared space, a combuned creative response to a place of such personal significance and two individuals long and watchful awareness of each others work.
