Description
Is iad laethanta saoire an tsamhraidh atá ann agus caitheann Katie a cuid ama ag spiaireacht ar a tuismitheoirí agus ar a deirfiúr, Ríona. Ansin goidtear pacáiste óna Daideo agus tugann Katie agus a cara Páidín faoin bhfiosrúchán. Tá Katie cinnte go mbeidh siad in ann breith ar an ngadaí, ach níl rudaí baileach chomh simplí is a shíleann sí, agus faigheann sí amach nach bhfuil i bpacáiste Dhaideo ach an chuid is lú den scéal…
Úrscéal bleachtaireachta do pháistí níos sine/luathdhéagóirí é an leabhar seo, atá lán le haicsean agus le mistéir. Scríofa i nGaeilge shoiléir, bainfidh léitheoirí óga an-sult as Katie agus a cairde a leanúint agus í ag iarraidh an cás seo a réiteach.
The school summer holidays are in full swing and Katie spends her days spying on her parents and on her sister, Ríona. When Grandad’s parcel is stolen, Katie and her friend Páidín have to investigate! Katie is sure they will be able to catch the thief, but things aren’t quite as simple as they seem, and she discovers that the missing parcel is just the tip of the iceberg…
In this all-action detective novel for older children, from debut author Éadaoin Ní Dhomhnaill, readers will be kept guessing through the twists and turns of the meticulously woven plot.
