This book is a collection of old stories from the folklore tradition in China. Cheng is a young honest boy. But not everyone is as honest as him, however this is what brings him to the attention of the Emperor of China. This story has been adapted for modern readers by Charlotte Guillain and has been illustrated by Steve Dorado. Young children will enjoy reading this Irish version of the story themselves or they will enjoy someone else reading it aloud to them.
