The Derry Native is currently celebrating an amazing 55 years on the road . The biography features Rob’s fascinating account of his life story from humble beginnings in Springtown Camp in Derry, his moves to Omagh, Dublin , The USA and Kildare . Rob and his contemporaries share their unique experiences in the Showband Era when he performed with three top showbands, The Polka Dots, The Plattermen and Las Vegas, in addition to a whole host of musicians who played alongside the man they call “The Godfather of Soul in Ireland”. Author Paul Holland is also Rob’s manager and includes the changing face of Music over six decades, the growth of The Rock Scene in Ireland, with cameos from Philo, Rory and so many more.
